Hawaii - Lava Flow

Posted by
Scott F. Schilling (San Martin, United States) on 9 November 2010 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

For a few minutes the first rays of sunlight lit the clouds with touches of red as a backdrop to the lava flow at the Ocean's edge on the Big Island of Hawaii. On the far right hand side of the frame you can see a small figure with red coat sleeves - this is a photographer with his tripod on land shooting the scene.
