Lake Tahoe Podcast II

Posted by
Scott F. Schilling (San Martin, United States) on 7 December 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

A very cold dawn approaches Emerald Bay along the Lake Tahoe shoreline.
I am still warming up from taking this image! - it was cold!! I have recently uploaded a Podcast of the second Lake Tahoe Photography Adventure - Lake Tahoe II. You can listen via iTunes or by following the link below for download of the sound file.

NIKON D3 15 second F/10.0 ISO 400 26 mm

SOUL AFLAME from The bosom of Mother Nature, United Kingdom

Cold! I think I would brave frostbite to get a shot as beautiful as you have. Scott, this is awesome. Unspeakably serene, masterfully captured, and makes me feel humble in the presence of Mother natures natural bounty. An absolute jewel of a photograph

Scott, this is wonderful! This time, it looks like you crossed the road and took this photo from up on the hillside? That must have been one cold hike, indeed! The blues in this image are superb! And the subtle glow of the rising sun. You have made an excellent capture of this image! And you have inspired me to do better when I am there! Would love to know where you were for this POV.

Scott- I listened to Lake Tahoe II Adventure this morning. I was pretty surprised when you mentioned my name. I was very impressed you pronounced it correctly. Most people have a tough time with it!

Anyway, thanks for another "feels like I am there" podcast. I have never explored the Lake Tahoe area. It sounds like there are many stunning locations to photograph. I shoot all over Minnesota and occasionally make it out to Wyoming. I look forward to your next podcast and have subscribed via iTunes so I don't miss it.
