A late summer evening comes to a close with the last touch of light adding color to the clouds as Half Dome glows after sunset as viewed from Glacier Point in Yosemite National Park.

That is an amazing photograph of Half Dome, Scott. I love the soft colors- it looks almost like a vintage postcard. Beautiful!

Again you have demonstrated that by simply adding a foreground element, it turns a two-dimensional photo into three-dimensional (not literally - but as an illusion). I've seen so many images from Glacier Point where Half Dome is the first element used. You've demonstrated what master photographer, David Meunch, has known for years, and that is to add as many layers to the image as possible to create a sense of depth.

I like the fact that you used a simple element for the foreground- It lets the attention go where you intended it, and does not compete, but accentuates the scene! As always, Scott- Beautifully and artfully done :)
