Curly from South Shields, United KingdomQuite a composition Scott, that rock sits there like the most moody thing on the planet. 24 Feb 2012 1:00pm Stephen from Canberra, AustraliaAn image full of the inspiring power of nature. The rock in the foreground anchors the scene beautifully! 24 Feb 2012 1:02pm Elaine Hancock from Rockville, United StatesI love the blue! And how the lake stretches to infinity! Beautiful image! 24 Feb 2012 8:54pm Judy aka L@dybug from Brooksville, FL, United StatesThat huge rock looks like a whale with a smile ... see its eye? I suppose it is fending off whatever weather comes its way, and has been for decades. I like the light you've captured in this image, Scott. 24 Feb 2012 10:52pm Judy aka L@dybug from Brooksville, FL, United StatesThat huge rock looks like a whale with a smile ... see its eye? This image is really captivating, and that classic Tahoe turquoise blue is spectaculary placed on display here thanks to your composition. I really find so many things in this image to absorb and breath-in. My eyes began, with the clouds in the sky actually, the pink rose surrounded by the greay - how cool is that? Another feature that I personally like is the reflected light off the lake surface in the right hand side of the frame. To me, that sets things off so nicely in the balance of the image! The old rock with its very dark splotches just seems to be telling an age old story of winters, springs and summers past! This is truly a masterful image Scott...only you! 25 Feb 2012 4:18pm DarkElf from Perth, Australiasuperbly composed scene! some great lines and wonderful colour tones! 26 Feb 2012 8:03am |
