Spectacular, Scott! I love the inclusion of the tree in the foreground, it really anchors the scene and balances out the really fast water.....PS you can get some rubber boots at OSH for $20!

Hey Scott, I think you and I need to invest in those rubber boots that Tracy keeps mentioning! Maybe we can start marketing our own brand and finally retire, then we could spend the rest of our days seeking out beautiful locations such as this. I really liked the warm-colored sky and you captured it perfectly. I also like that you included the pine on the left side of the frame and left just enough of the foreground rocks to add a sense of depth. As usual - excellently done!

So worth wet feet Scott. From all of our backpacking days, I know how cold snow-melt run off can be! Five stars!

There are two sides to taking your shoes off. Don clearly fared better than you but he could have cut his foot in case you would have made the better decision. Coulda, shoulda, woulda.. that whole hindsight thing. You still got an amazing shot and like my husband says, if you don't bleed on it [fixing cars, presses, etc] then you haven't done it right. By this image, you did it right, even with your shoes on!

this is almost a pick of the last week or so for me! rarely i see this perspective on a waterfall - it is there and it tells a story but yet there are other elements that are equal to the waterfall - more often than not the focus is set squarely on the fall itself but i like the variety of interest here, which makes me wonder whether the fall compliments the view behind or is it the other way around - it can surely work in both ways and that is what is really special about this composition to me!

I'm speechless... what a beauty !!! Light on the water is divine... 5 * without hesitation.

Myself, I enjoy viewing the photo, with dry socks and a warm cup of coffee , , , Scott this is a beautiful image. The exposure on the water fall is perfect as it catches the color of the sunrise. Did I mention my socks are dry?
