Sequoia National Park TwilightPosted by Scott F. Schilling (San Martin, United States) on 7 November 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. This is a composite of 3 images taken over an hour period after sunset from Moro Rock in Sequoia National Park - looking west towards the Central Valley of California. The Moon and Saturn or Jupiter - not sure which one?, are close together in the upper left hand side of the frame. I WILL BE CO-TEACHING PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS IN 2012 AND 2013, AND PRIVATE INSTRUCTION IN YOSEMITE VALLEY! THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY TO IMPROVE YOUR VISION, SKILLS, AND TECHNIQUE!

@Nigel: This is the exact same image taken over approximately 1 hour - each image - 20 minutes apart - the stars are so bright in the higher elevations that I can only process the image used for the sky portion to get a small portion of the stars to show. @Wendy Stoev: Wendy thanks! Great to hear from you! This image has been featured in 1 Remix collection. |
