Nevada Falls

After a good hike from Yosemite Valley to the top of Nevada Falls, I still had enough energy to take some photographs. The magnitude of water is, to me, stunning this time of year. This location was difficult for me since I don't do real well with heights. They have installed metal pole railing at this location, but I still had a difficult time dealing with leaning right over the edge of a cliff!

Eeks..........you were close to the edge! You captured the striking rainbow and even its double in the mist.

You're a braver man than I. Oh, wait. I'm a woman. Still. This is a fantastic shot. I'd be nervous, too, but I'd really want to capture the scene, so I'd just have to suck it up and be brave. Then I'd head down to the valley for a neat bourbon!
