Yosemite FallsPosted by Scott F. Schilling (San Martin, United States) on 27 May 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. This is one of the iconic locations in Yosemite that I could sit in a chair and stare at most of the day - just bring me food occasionally and a drink of water. Spring runoff creates a water show unlike any other - Yosemite Falls, California. I love the feeling of how powerful the water is- and how much water is coming over the falls....I think that choosing to "Freeze" the flow really makes this work in a way that conveys that power. 27 May 2009 1:13pm Don Smith from California, United StatesYosemite Fall is the grandfather of all waterfalls in Yosemite and the most iconic. Your image (and the one I posted today) shows that certain subjects can indeed be photographed under harsh light and still be worthy of capture. I sense a B&W version is on the way? 27 May 2009 1:40pm B. Thomas from Arlington, Texas, United StatesThat does it - I have to go back in the spring!!
