Ken from United StatesScott, your talent for framing a subject is remarkable. And then the colors add to the overall greatness of the moment. 11 May 2009 5:22am Paco Díaz from Palma de Mallorca, SpainHow beautiful trees in this coast! Good picture. 11 May 2009 7:23am xavier cardell from menorca-barcelona, SpainGoos job on the composition, but also on the post processing 11 May 2009 7:44am P J W Miller from Chase Terrace, United KingdomNot too lonely it has a friend on the other rock. Nicely taken Scott and love the sea in the background 11 May 2009 7:50am Judy from Brooksville, Florida, United StatesI smiled at PJWM's comment ... they do survive where others cannot. 11 May 2009 11:24am Thomas from Bangalore, IndiaAmazing perspective, looks a bit oversharpened on my screen 11 May 2009 12:05pm Ana Lúcia from Leiria, PortugalMagnificent! Looks prehistoric. A great shot. 11 May 2009 9:19pm Nicolas from Paris, FranceSo great, maybe the tree on the foreground is too large and hide the background. 11 May 2009 9:43pm Wayne Molyneux from Crewe, United KingdomSuperb composition Scott, I also feel it's a tad oversharpened, though I am more concerned about the dust bunnies/spots all over the sky, sorry to bring it to your attention but it really spoils an excellent shot. Best wishes
11 May 2009 9:50pm @Wayne Molyneux: Wayne thanks for the note and yes from a dust standpoint - its a mess! - I shot this with a circular ND filter - which wasn't totally clean and then a circular polarizer on top of that which has some issues and needs to be replaced - so from a dust standpoint I ran out of time to try and clean everything up. But I will work on it for next time. Take Care. jeff (aka dogilicious) from Millerstown, PA, United StatesStill a great composition and excellent colors. Dust or no - spoils is a little strong. It is a fantastic work of art! 11 May 2009 11:22pm Stephen Phillips from San Francisco, United StatesThe pastels here really set the mood.
