Lobos State Reserve is just south of carmel and has many easily accessible walking paths and the Veteran Cypress is an easy walk from the more northerly parking area Jen from St. George, United StatesThis shot is simply amazing! I think it does more justice to the Veteran Cypress than the one you posted a few weeks ago because you can really see it in context. It really is an incredible tree!! And the light, though subtle, is just perfect! The color tones are soft and inviting. There's so much depth and detail in this photo I could get lost in it for hours. I love it! 7 May 2009 11:23pm DarkElf from Perth, Australiaamazing landscape! great light and good detail and sharpness! the mist in the air adds a nice touch here and created a lovely mood! very well composed too! 8 May 2009 1:16am Stephen Phillips from San Francisco, United StatesOne of your best - and most evocative images, Scott.
