Tony Duque from Raleigh, United StatesWonderful shot, Scott! Really amazing dynamic range. I'm actually hoping you can confirm the image has benefited from a delicate HDR effort... so I won't have to bad-mouth my camera. Thanks for sharing another of your terrific pictures! 7 Mar 2009 3:08pm @Tony Duque: Tony, yes the range of this image has benefitted from HDR - most of my images posted are HDR - a few are not - the hope is that some day you won't be able to tell the difference - we'll see how it goes! Definitely don't bad mouth your camera. Have a great weekend and thanks for the comments. Don Smith from California, United StatesVery beautiful Scott, where in east Hollister was this? Lone Tree Road? 7 Mar 2009 3:08pm @Don Smith: Don, thanks for the comment - this was the first road on the email that you recommended - I can't remember which one it was though?? it went way up into the hills right off of fairview as I was heading south. I was hoping for snow in the hills but it didn't happen that night so I shot a few locations coming back down the road. @Eleftheria: Thanks and have a great weekend! Tracy from La Selva Beach, United StatesOH! Very nice! Lonely, but inviting at the same time with the rainbow. 7 Mar 2009 7:53pm @Tracy: Tracy, thanks for the kind words and it is a beautiful weekend! @Veronelle: thanks for the kind words! Judy from Brooksville, Florida, United StatesI looks as though the end of the rainbow found the 'pot' of gold! Well done! 7 Mar 2009 9:48pm @Judy: Pot of gold would be nice in the current economy! @Stefan: thanks for the kind words and stay warm in Austria!
