bluechameleon from Vancouver, CanadaWow Scott, this is just stunning. The blue-white tones, the branches looking like lace. Sheer beauty. 26 Feb 2009 5:37am Suzanne from Huntington Bch, California, United StatesScott, this series of yours is so outstanding. Just one stunner after another. 26 Feb 2009 6:14am EYES WIDE SHUT from United KingdomAbsolutely gorgeous, Scott. A scene of so much splendour 26 Feb 2009 7:37am Judy from Brooksville, Florida, United StatesI know how badly you need the water and I guess I haven't seen enough winter photos from up there to know if this was a heavier snow year in the high Sierras. 26 Feb 2009 11:04am @Judy: Dear Judy, This photograph is from the coastal range of mountains in the San Francisco Bay Area - which typically gets snow at these elevations 2 to 3 times a year. We have had very good rain/snow this month in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and Norther California in general. We have a good storm coming in this weekend which, if all goes well, our rainfall for the year will be at normal - very good news!! dogilicious from Millerstown, PA, United StatesNice scene. I like the way you composed it with the downed tree in the foreground. 27 Feb 2009 12:13am DarkElf from Perth, Australiabeautiful yet again! i have truly enjoyed you perspective on the winter season through your photos! very original work! 27 Feb 2009 1:42am Cricket-Tammy from Huntsville, United StatesOh boy....this is cold.
