Suzanne from Huntington Bch, United StatesThese scrubby oaks are one of my favorite trees. They have so much character. A glorious image, Scott 15 Jan 2009 10:26am @EYES WIDE SHUT: The hills in this area exist almost untouched and are the same as when the Ohlone Indians roamed the land dogilicious from Millerstown, PA, United Statesawesome shot. It appears that there is either some low level atmosphere or frost on the grass. Well done. 15 Jan 2009 1:48pm @dogilicious: The look on the grass may be due to the wind blowing also - thanks for the comments Don Smith from California, United StatesPerfect light Scott - it pays to get out of bed early for moments like this! 15 Jan 2009 2:59pm @Don Smith: Don thanks I am hoping for dome rain and green grass this winter! @Eleftheria: Thanks for all of the comments on the image!
