A sunrise from the top of Henry W. Coe State Park, Morgan Hill, California - approximately 3,000' above sea level looking east/southeast. This is as dry as I have ever seen the hills looking in January - usually they are covered with green grass from the winter rains.

Stunning. The tone of the dry grass really works great here with the reddish trees and sky color. Also, I love the effect of the fog below.

@Suzanne: Suzanne, thanks for the comments - I took this photo and a minute later was completely fogged out by clouds and mist - I had to pack up and head down the hill.
