Yosemite

Posted by Scott F. Schilling (San Martin, United States) on 23 January 2014 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

I have to go back to the previous Winter to get an image with any weather in Yosemite. We have had a lot of blue skies this year and are in serious need of rain and snow!

This is beautiful!
And this large photo made me realize that we look at large on-line images differently which break some of the traditional composition rules: In a book I would look at a photo from bottom to top, follow any leading lines, etc. But with large images like this, we start top and then scroll to the bottom. Quite a different experience!

A beautiful in depth shot of this spot, Scott, from top to bottom.
I've just read an article about the lack of rain and/or snow out there, and the fire danger. ;(

This is a gorgeous shot of this place! We were in Yosemite last June and the only thing spotting the sky were planes traces once in a while! The weather was absolutely superb and everything was so green! This is paradise!
